I bought a new 2023 Colt Gold Cup.

I also had to send the above Colt 1911 (01911SE-A1) back to the factory. The standard Novak sights were not aligned properly from the factory. They emailed me the shipping label and will then send it back to me.

I also attended a local private Gun Show and Swap Meet last weekend. I found an (one) early Colt .45 Government magazine at a fair price (the smaller frame Colt 1911 mags will not work). I was hoping to buy more.

Please explain -- what is a "smaller frame" Colt 1911 mag? I have never heard of such a thing.

    Officers

I did solve the magazine by buying a ~2013 Colt 01991 in a deal that included 7 magazines (two were Colt-not shown).

P/S The 0991 came with the original parts.

As shown above, I have extra magazines that makes a range session very enjoyable.

I had a great time today. It was fun.

It's always a fun day when you can get to the range.
