    Question Group mag buy?

Has anyone ever made a group-buy for BHP mags like they do 1911s? What would be a good company to go to if I want to arrange one?

Mec-Gar would probably be the company with which to go. Their magazines are OEM for Browning and of impeccable quality.

Thanks. I will give them a call and see if they give bulk discounts and how many I would have to buy.

    Hi there,

Just for comparison, www.midwayusa.com has Mec Gar/BHP 13 round blue magazines on sale for $16.99/each plus shipping this month.

I don't know where you may find them cheaper than that.

Thank you for the replies. I have dropped the idea due to the fact that it is illegal to buy or own any recently manufactured "hi capacity" mags in NY. I though that the law had expired or something along those lines. I wonder when the 13 rd mags that came with my old hi power were made. Is there any way to find out?

NYCMedic, I'm new to the forum. I don't hold a full FLL just a CCR, but your idea is still posible. If some "friends" outside of New York were too purchase full capacity 13/15 rd. magazines and have some left over you could get them fedex or ups over to you from your "friends" either as components or assemblies provided no FFL types were involved. Just as if you were to drive across the frontier (I mean border) and pick them up yourself. Remember ATF&E Agents sell their personal weapons in New York they also sell Hi-Cap Mags to civilians.
