    Here is my 1911, it has been refinished, its now matte blue, two tone effect achieved by temperature difference of the bluing bath, accidental but it looks okay, forgot to blue the slidestop though:



    It works real well with thse cast bullets that I make myself, never found any leading in it, only powder residue:

    Hi , here is my baby ! I've had it for years but finally decided to make her mine .
    There is an Ed Brown GS ,ambi saftey, I polished off the 'model of' stuff on the slide . I installed the sights with dove tail cut on the front . There is an undercut that I did with the mill where the front strap and trigger gaurd meet .


    Then she was rust blued. Also lots of little triming up the trigger gaurd and rounding the front strap to a sort of Hi Power feel . Today we opened up the radius on the ejection port . I installed woff spring pack today as well .
