RIA Tactical .45 to .22LR conversion kit

Hello, I just purchased the RIA Tactical 1911 and am looking for conversion kits. I've looked at Marvel, Kimber, and Ciener.

I have looked at this kit in particular:

Can anyone tell me if any of these brands make a kit that will fit the RIA?

    Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks, they are backordered right now so still just looking around. The price difference between these kits is pretty high. Are some of these kits that much better? More accurate?

    i have the followering

Ciener----good, not ammo picky, no last rd. slidelock
Kimber-- good, ammo picky,no last rd. slidelock
Advantage Arms-- good, ammo picky, does have last rd. slidelock

For just about the same price as a conversion kit you can buy a GSG 1911-22 pistol that works great and is not ammo picky at all.

I have a Ciener Platinum Cup on a RIA/Armscor receiver that has been tuned. Wish I could shoot as accurat as the pistol is capable of. Best .22 rf auto I've ever owned. Guns been around for some years, but runs like Swiss watch.

Before you decide that, you should read the thread (here in the Rimfire Corner) about Mr. Ciener being arrested and charged with multiple counts of fraud. Brownells dropped his products several years ago. Midway's web listing doesn't say 'Out of Stock," it says "Discontinued." Don't expect it to be restocked -- ever.

Conversion kits are parts, not firearms. No permits or licenses needed, and the purchase does not have to be made through an FFL.
