The officer model is a Stainless Ultra Carry II, its my everyday carry gun. The Government Model is a Custom II, its mostly a range beater but I carry it now and then mostly on weekends.

Both have Kimber Rosewood grips and OEM Night Sights, as well as grip tape from home dee-pot.

    Talking My Kimber with Alumagrips

Hello all, this is my first post on this forum. I thought that a photo of my Kimber with my new Alumagrips would be appropriate.

I picked up my first 1911 yesterday! My fiance said I could get one, but she wanted me to know that big guns scare her. So a new Custom II followed me home yesterday and I added some new grips to settle her concerns. The Wilson Combat 8-rd magazine was for me

Ladies and Gentlemen, please do not use the "Show us your XYZ" threads, as discussion threads. Please read this message from Hawkmoon:

    http://forum.m1911.org/showthread.php?t=80021

We'll be going around, deleting all chit-chat in these threads, as well as all messages with broken picture links. So please use these threads for the reason they were created. To show us your pistols.

    Thanks for your cooperation.
