Thread: Who carries a full 5" 1911 concealed?

    In general I think this is the case. Being short and thin would be the worst. Wearing an Inside the Waistband (IWB) holster would help conceal the barrel, and getting more cant on the holster will help with the grip. If you can get the grip more vertical, you don't get it poking out as much.

    I carry a Les Bear Concept VI with 5'' barrel. And it's in inside belt rig. Been carrying it for over 10 + years.

    Same old pic of same combo; now the 1911 wears black navridex & the sidekick wears rubber. Reliable, accurate, slim, and rests well in times of peace.
