Can someone start a picture thread. If I had one, I would start it. It will be a couple more weeks before I can even think of getting one. However, I want one real bad.

NICE!
I was wondering myself why there wasn't a picture thread in here.
Pictures shown are my 1911 after the first trip to the range, the gun shop owner is my buddy and threw in a FLGR for free, so I used it. Then a quick photo op (after cleaning) in stock configuration with the standard length guide rod in place.
Reason: . . . added info
Fresh from the range.
Fresh pics with new grips
Pardon the lint, matte finishes are slightly "grabby".
C'mon people, Get posting!!!
Sorry in advance for the picture quality.
Fit is very tight and finish is beatiful on both of them.
AC Commander, Factory mag
Ron
what do ya think
I dug up just one more picture of my AC2 just so I could post it and tell you what a nice job you did on your bobtail.
Here is my first 1911. No real issue so far. I've shot about 150 rounds of FMJ and a couple mags of JHP. So far so good.

This is one fine pistol. I haven't seen a Colt, Kimber etc. that's finished any better than these. Accurate and darn good looking. The grips are from Mil-Tac
