John, thanks for the sticky.
Here are a few of my Model 1.
Here's a few pictures of my "No Name" 45 ACP.

I wanted something special for retirement. After reading Hawkmoons review of the Guncrafter Industries pistol I had to have one. As well as a member here David Cote of DRC firearms. Dave sells high end pistols and is one of the most honest people you will ever do business with.
John, thank you for letting us post our pictures here.
Take care, Vern

I got my No Name from Dave Cote as well. Top notch customer service, and some of the best prices around. He will be getting all of my high end 1911 business from now on as well:

Just wanted to say that I appreciate Guncrafter discussions on this forum. Joined the m1911.org recently and just purchased a used Model 1. This lightly used Model 1 is a .45 acp caliber only. I did not know these guns existed, so I contacted Alex and he has confirmed that Gancrafter has indeed sold several M1's and M2's in .45 ACP only and that they are all capable of the 50 GI conversion. So I ended up buying the gun and it will be soon going to Guncrafter's Spa for 50GI conversion and few more things on my list. Once it is back home it will be 50GI new and almost new in .45
Can not wait. For now here are couple of pictures posted by the seller. I will post more pics once I have the gun.
