I don't get it... they got a normal car (a Nissan 350Z, I think), dressed it up some, then they welded the diff solid to make it a drift machine, and employed a really talented driver to burn some rubber...

Wouldn't it be a lot easier to twist the cap off with their fingers?

Yeah, what Frank said, it was probably stuck. Sometimes you need to force those darn things. Now, can I have that car for a couple of weeks? I have some bottles to open.

Ah yes, I hate it when that happens...

I suppose a bullet from a pistol or a slug from a shotgun would work OK too, but it wouldn't make for a nice video...

I don't know John, when you consider that most of that commercial, and the final shot in particular were filmed, not with a high-end movie camera, but with a Canon dSLR, that's pretty noteworthy.

Digital imaging has come a long way.

Buy yeah, the car is wicked cool too!

Yes, that's actually very interesting. I really thought that the ability to record video is something more suitable to Point & Shoot cameras, but it looks like I was wrong.

    +1.

I thought that you started with novelty low-res P&S or the "flip" type camcorders, and then you had to jump up to the Canon X-series camcorders for high end video. The Canon in the video John posted along with some of their more moderately priced dSLRs are now capable of full 1080p at decent frame rates.
