Great write up and pics. I carry a Talon II most of the time but on occasion I carry a S&W 1911pd commander and I'm always surprised at how much a few ounces can make on the back.
I have been thinking about a LW bobtail Nighthawk or LW Colt Commander. The bobtail is still something I have to get my mind around.

How did I miss this beauty?

What a lovely pistol, I am green with envy, a real beaut.
