    good-evening everybody. my name is paul , and am as new as you can get to 1911 pistols. i joined your site last night and met "cap". he immediately called me and made me feel at home. i am a guncollector and just got to the 1911's. i don't know what took so long. i first shot one in early august, it was my brother in laws "DAN WESSON". i ordered remingtons new R1 the next day. i am now waiting for a "AUTO ORDNANCE" any day and ordered a "RIA" nickel tactical two days ago. any feed back you can give me , i am all ears and listen well. thank-you , and a shout out to "CAP", paul lewin

    Welcome. Once you own a 1911 you won't want to shoot anything else. I have bought other pistols after that, but my favorite is still the RIA tactical. If you get it tweaked up and shooting good, there is nothing to compare to it.
