That IonBond dark gray finish is beautiful. Here's my blue Signature - blue Combatant Carry to arrive in 2-3 months.

    New Engraved Signature

Here is my new pistol. Blued Signature with custom engraving/ inlays, high grip cut, real elephant ivory grips. The engraving was done by Brian Powley in Ohio (http://www.powleyengraving.com/). I couldn't be happier with the outcome and Brian was very easy to work with, and Luke had a few pics made, one of which I am sharing with the forum. Right side only for now, but the reverse has "Volkmann Custom" also inlayed with platinum. I will have other pictures made in a few weeks and will add them when I have them.

Just pick this Combat Custom last week at a local gun shop Used (only 50 rnds) sold originally 08', one of earlier Luke's work (low serial #). Sweeeeeet! In new condition and right on target at the gun range last weekend.

My Volkman Combat Custom "Operator" Pistol (no safe queen)

This is my Volkmann Combat Custom in Diamond Black (ion bond finish) with high grip cut, mag well, fixed night sights, extended slide release, extended & checkered mag release, wide tactical thumb safety, (not ambi) naked slide, no tactical rail or FCS, flush crowned barrel and a KKM Precision threaded barrel hand fit to the gun. Ghost Double Diamond grips with silver medallions. I plan to get a Silencerco Osprey suppressor to go on it as soon as possible.
I've designed it as my "go to weapon" it shoots like a house on fire!

Note the extended slide release, mag button checkered and extended, wide tactical safety.

Custom bushing, flush crowned match barrel

Note the wide tactical safety and the tight (but not too tight) slide to frame fit.

Nice mag well, awesome trigger, high grip cut, naked slide, no FCS, Diamond Black ion bond finish.

Nice checkering on front and backstrap, ghost double-diamond grips w/silver medallions. And it came with two great hats!

All the excellent photos in my post were taken by Traxxis.
