tips for loading your own cartridges

Does anyone know a good website that caters to people who wish to load their own ammo? Also, is there a book or URL that can tell you how to do it? Do you need a machine...etc? Thank you.

Before starting to reload ammo, I highly recommend you read a manual or two or three. Overall, it is a safe thing to do, make a mistake and you might be saying goodbye to some fingers, eyes, ears, your life.

First manual I bought was Lyman's. They are up to the 48th edition and it is an excellent manual. You will also want a couple more, like Hornady, Sierra and Speer. I refer to all of these before starting a new load.

And yes, you will need equipment, a few hundred dollars worth. If you are only going to shoot 50 rounds every month or two, then don't invest in reloading, just buy factory ammo. If you want to shoot a couple hundred rounds per month, then reloading is the way to go.
