Yeah that's a bull barrel. Thank you for the picture!

    Is that a good thing?

Remember, I'm a total noob at this and learning as I go.

Heck, I only found out about this whole airsoft thing within the last month or so while researching IDPA dry fire practice.

    Appreciate your patience and info

Traditionally, a Colt Combat Commander would use a thinner barrel, with a barrel bushing. Like the Govt. model they sent you by mistake.

Rather more worryingly, I think this pistol might have a 4" barrel, as opposed to a 4 1/4" one. If you have a real Colt Commander, you should be able to see the difference (if I'm right).

But both these 'issues' are for those interested in the aesthetics of the matter. If what you want is an aid to dry-fire practice to keep your shooting skills sharp, a 1/4" difference in sight radius and a somewhat different geometry at the front end, shouldn't matter very much...

    It's 4 1/4".

Measured it against my real Commander.

And, yes, it doesn't have the barrel bushing like the Colt. Trigger's not near as good as the Colt's either.

    Thanks!
