    By Popular Demand: Nighthawk Finishes...

Since there have been several requests for pictures of the various finishes Nighthawk provides, I thought it would be a good idea to make one thread, that lists each finish along with a picture or two of each. This will be similar to the picture thread, however it should be much more short and concise, with preferably no reposts of the same finishes. If you add a picture of a finish to this thread, IT IS UP TO YOU to check the thread to see if that particular finish has been posted already.

Okay, three hours later, here is the result! Enjoy!

By the way, I am not quite done yet, there are a couple more I will be adding shortly.

Most of these pictures came from the picture thread, so if anybody is offended that I have used their photo, please let me know and I will delete it.

Diamond Black AKA El Commandante Special:

Another DB Nighthawk after 1500 rounds and regular draws from Kydex:

Damascus (only two I've found so far... stay tuned):

    Hard Chrome Matte:

    Hard Chrome Polished:

Flat Dark Earth (I believe... it's a pretty rare color)

    Black Permacoat:

    Titanium Blue under Black Permacoat:

Gunmetal Grey (I believe) under Black Permacoat:

    Sniper Grey under Black Permacoat:

    OD Green under Black Permacoat:

    Stainless:

Probably my least favorite, but it wouldn't be fair for me not to post it...

    And finally, camo:

No it's y'all's turn. I need a picture of a polished DB Nighthawk (I can put other manufacture's up if need be), and I REALLY want to see a blued Nighthawk.

    Nicely compiled summary, Traxxis.
It should be noted that the "Flat Dark Earth" is also a Vapor Deposition (PVD, I believe) technology/application which, like the more common DB, has far superior durability to abrasion, chipping, and holster wear than PermaKote.

Now, if John is still claiming $0.01 commission on all DB orders, I'll take any pennies (towards ammo, trust me) for polished HC orders.
Craig, if you're claiming that PINK....

including this since people may find a side-by-side comparison of black permakote and diamond black useful.

Left: Talon with black permakote slide over hard chrome
Right: Vickers Tactical in all diamond black

Beautiful pistols.....well at least all but the pinkish color one IMO anyway. Though I'm sure it probably doesn't detract from the performance of the pistol....Congrats!!!
