It took much more than $150 bucks in my case. A blank check would be a better solution as there are apparently variations in some Commanches that don't exist in others. Nevertheless, my pistol now runs so good it is hard to believe it is the same piece of machinery. I could put a bucket 10 feet away between 2 and 3 o:clock and catch my brass when all the while I am drilling the center out of a target. After a good bit of my fretting, the good news is that this Concept VII Baer of mine is now going to run for a long, long time. It just needed extra work performed by a qualified 1911 smith to bring it all within specs.

Glad it's running now. Sorry you had to go though all that.

I love my Baer, but the attitude they have I can live without.

The one time I called regarding modifications I wanted to make they lied and quoted a ridiculous price.

    Well:

I'm getting a Custom Carry Commanche next week from John at Proload.

I hope it's one of the "bad" ones that slingshots and shoots good!

    Take care,

    Rick

    Hey OD!

    Thanks for the kind words.
I called John and he said he's sold a bunch of the Commanche sized ones with pretty much no problems.

Hope y'all had a great Christmas and have a great New Year!

    Rick
