    A unique Wilson Combat pistol

Here is what had landed in Greece a few days ago.

It's a Wilson Combat Supergrade Classic, with a blink factor of about oh... some millions. The pistol is engraved and entirely covered in 24k gold. As I've been assured by Wilson, this is the first pistol of its kind that they've build. Two gold plated magazines and 18 simple magazines were ordered with this pistol!!!

    See for yourself.

Don't ask who this pistol is for or how much it costs.

Wow, that's bright! Beautiful engraving and finishing. Congratulations to someone lucky.

    Wow!

I have to say though, given the rest of the pistol's details, these grips are a bit... subdued!

I agree and that's what Lena thought too. Bright-colored cocobolo grips would suite that pistol much more than the black ones.

IMHO, if a 1911 ever needed Mother of Pearl grips, it is this one... I know they're not as durable as other materials, but I suspect that this won't be a problem here!

EDIT: Of course, nicely grained ones with golden WC medallions wouldn't hurt either!

    John,

I would have to say that if that was a sponsorship gift, I do not think any other company will be able to match that LOL

Oh no. That's not for me, personally I wouldn't be interested in a gold-plated gun.

I didn't think so John, I would not be interested in a Gold one either, but if Elvis Presley were alive today, I would say he would be going nuts over it right now

How about a Titanium Oxide - plated one? It would be the same colour, more or less, but as hard-wearing as hard-chrome!
