    Which pistols can be discussed in this forum (with serial # tables)

    This forum should be used for discussing:

    United States Government Issue (USGI) M1911-style pistols produced from 1907 through 1945. This includes the Model of 1911 pistols manufactured by Colt, Springfield Armory and Remington Arms-UMC between 1912 and 1919, and Model of 1911A1 pistols manufactured by Colt, Singer, Remington Rand, Ithaca and US&S between 1924 and 1945, and all preceding models and prototypes related to M1911 production.

    Also included are USGI Colt Ace, Colt Service Model Ace and Colt Super .38 pistols produced between 1931 and 1945, and USGI .45acp M15 General Officer’s pistols produced by Rock Island Armory 1971-1982. No modern reproductions are permitted.
