I'm just sayin' is all.
Words can be as lethal as bullets; Choose them carefully, Aim them well and use them sparingly.
I don't get it.
Only the strong.. in a world so cold
Look closely at the mag and how it's loaded...then remember "No Compromise."

Clearly, many others missed it too including the proof editor!

One of those ads that will go down in history... They make great firearms though, especially their black rifles!

Great ad, I cannot believe that made it in a magazine.
I hope someone got called in on the carpet for this.
I've tried finding a better view of that ad, but to no avail. Can't anyone with the broshure put it on a flatbed, for historical purposes?

Okay, I searched for a while and found nothing... no better picture, that is.
I did find some info on the foul-up though, in the official H&K forum, in a post by member/moderator Big Bore:
The picture they show in there is the same we have here, only reduced...Ok, I see an explanation is be needed for those new to HKs, or outside the United States. In 2004 at the United States SHOT show, Hk had the 2004 catalogs delivered from the printers, sight unseen. When they arrived, this is what HK was handing out until Tom picked up on the mistake. It has been a running joke ever since and became a custom to always insert a round backwards in the mag whenever posting pictures on the net. See, we do have a since of humor and can laugh at ourselves. The catalogs were pulled and the mistake corrected, but not before hundreds of these catalogs made it out into the population. The ad company had no knowledge of firearms and really goofed up, and since the catalogs arrived late, HK did not have a chance to proof them. WOOPS!
But people posting their guns there DO often load a mag with the top round backwards, as a joke!

Funny though... I'd blame it on the ad company too.
