The bushing tool idea sounds great! I've been looking for an all-in-one tool that has a few more tools on it for other uses. I know Wilson Combat makes a tool with a bushing wrench and has some drivers on it but it sure would be nice to have a blade too.

I carry the Gerber fisherman's tool, forget the model#. I find that the long needle nose pliers are more useful fo me, even when I'm not fishing. I also have carried the Gerber with the square nosed plier's for many year's. I have never had a Gerber tool to break.

I carried Gerber for years and years until I tried a Leatherman Wave. I really like the ability to access the knife blades without having to open the tool up.

I own at least one multitool from each of the makers and the one I carry every day is the Swiss Tool from Victorinox . Give it a look, it is the best made multitool I have used. The second place hands down is anything from Leatherman, I keep the leatherman supertool in my tool belt at work.

I guess I'm old fashioned. I carry a very basic Swiss Army knife, but I often use the flathead screwdriver bit when installing or removing rack-mounted server rails. I never seem able to remember to bring my toolkit with me when I go to do one of these jobs and I end up whipping out the ol' red knife to do the job.

(The smaller screwdriver blade on the can opener bit works good on those Torx bit screws on Compaq servers!)

Only tested some models of Leatherman and Gerber. My choise went to Victorinox, their Swiss Tool is still (after some years) the best one.
Yust to mention: the Swiss Tool is the only multi-tool i have ever bought.

I, too, carry the Victorinox and have had several Leathermans and a Gerber. Now, I am a little rough on stuff, but it has to hold up. So far my Victorinox is the only one to cut the mustard. I realize the Leathermans are, of course, guaranteed but that doesn't help at three in the A.M..

I have a Leatherman Juice Pro, basically a top of the line Juice with a tweezer and other features. It's small enought to fit in my jean's coin pocet and takes care of most of my daily usage. It was only 30 bucks from Costco...
