I am interested it what after market mags people are using, with good performance.

Thanks to all of you that have purchased the Team Match II. Our US Shooting team appreciates the donations that Kimber has made. Approaching $500,000.

That was also one of the reasons I chose this gun.

I got a good gun and Kimber supported you as a benefit....

    Alpha Wolf:

Great to hear from yet another Team Match owner.

As of yesterday I've got 8,769 rounds through by Team Match since October 2004. I got off to a slow start but this year alone I'll easily get 5,000 rounds through it. I'd like to get up to around 10,000 per year.

No problems to report so far.

    Regards...

Update on Member Field Test Report

I just passed the 10,000 round mark with my Team Match II (“TMII”).

The TMII continues to function and shoot very well.

No repairs of any kind have been needed. I did change the various springs at the intervals recommended by Kimber with the exception of the external extractor spring which remains original.

I continue to field strip for cleaning and lubrication with FP-10 every 250 rounds. I probably should have done a detail strip for cleaning and lubrication on a periodic basis but did not detail strip it until last week. I expected to find lots of fouling during the detail striping but didn’t.

There are no signs of wear except on the outside of the barrel. Although these marks are visible I can’t feel anything different when touching them.

The trigger pull remains constant at just over 3 pounds.

The weather hasn't allowed much shooting in my area until a week ago. Shooting should really start to pickup now and I have sufficient components to fire about 5,000 through the TMII this season.

    Regards...

How is the TMII doing now?

Where did you get the extra magazines for your TMII?

    LOBO:

The TMII continues to work great. Total round count is currently 11,200.

I have three magazines for the TMII. One is the Kimber that came with it and the other two I bought from CDNN Investments for about $8.00 each. No magazine problems to report so far.

    Thanks for your interest.

    Regards.
