    TM 1911 Magazine Filling issue.

    Hello all.

As you may have noticed I recently bought a TM 1911. Today I bought some gas and I decided to shoot some BB's. The problem is that, I cannot find the right angle so that no gas is lost during the filling.. I have tried so many times that I believe I have wasted too much gas..

In a KJ Works Beretta I do not have such problem...

The magazine though fills with gas and gives me almost 20 rounds with full power..

    Dunno..

I had the same problem with my TM Hi-Capa.

Here's what I did: go to any store that sells gas and ask for a bottle of gas for butane lighters. If you're lucky, even the nearest news stand (Periptero) will have it.

DON'T USE THE BUTANE GAS IN YOUR GUN!

What you need is the plastic little multi-nozzle adaptor that comes with the bottle. One of these nozzles (the second smallest in my case) is a perfect match for the fill valve of the TM. Also, this nozzle is plastic, so it is easier on the valve than the metal tip of the bottle. It's a good idea to use it on all your airsoft pistols.

Alternatively, you can do what John does: buy an adaptor for propane bottles, which is plastic to begin with! For large volume shooting, this is clearly the smart choice.

Don't forget to keep mag and bottle upside-down while you fill up!

    Best of luck

Another possible solution is to find and old bic lighter and take it apart and use one of the o-rings by dropping it into the fill valve to make a better seal.
