    Hi, All:
When I try to bring up the Colt mod. number listing, it comes up Web page cannot be found. The same happens when I try to bring up the Model Numbers listing by Cleveland. My computer skills have a lot to be desired, can anyone help?

I periodically post the expanded and updated model number chart on 1911TimeWarp; here's the direct link:

    Corrections and additions gratefully accepted.

    Walt,

On the product number O1991Z, there was no specific model, Colt basically used it as an "umbrella" term. It could have been something as small as just having a different trigger, I had a stock M1991A1 with the exception of having a factory installed Videcki trigger and it was labeled O1991Z.

Thanks; I have become aware of Colt's use of O1991Z as a catchall; the next time I go through the list I'll figure out how to relist "O1991Z." The number is used in the latest ('08/'09) catalogs for something called the "Model O Custom Package." That package is detailed out as consisting of Novak rear sight, dovetail front sight, upswept grip safety and dehorning. However, I have seen the number used for other custom pistols, e.g., the Talo "Tiger." Your pistol is another example.

    Sigh.

    Thanks, and best regards,

    Walt

Thank you Walt, I wasn't aware that Colt started using O1991Z in the '08/'09 catalogs.
