    Left side OF SLIDE. MODEL OF THE 1911A1 (LOGO) 45AUTOMATIC.
    Left side of frame. Made in China By Norinco. C.S.I. ONT. CA.
    Right side of the frame. 5269**.
    Finish. Stainless or nickle I havent figured it out yet just picked it up yesterday Verry shinny..
    No Lanyard Loop.
    Picked it up at a gunshow yesterday for $300 out the door.

    Left Slide: Model of the 1911A1 (logo) 45 Automatic
    Left Frame: Made in China by Norinco C.S.I Ont. CA.
    Right Frame: SN 4197XX
    Pretty Blue Frame, Dull Blue slide
    Lanyard loop
    Bought 1993 at a pawn shop $180.00 WOOT!
    Hammer, Trigger, Tail, Sights and grips by me.
    This thing shoots like a Kimber and swallows anything I feed it.

    Pawn shop $335 out the door, appears unfired, frame and top of slide high gloss blue, flats on slide matte black.

    Norico Markings (pic)

    Bought my Norinco in 1992 for $274.00 Markings are as follows:

    Left side slide: "Model OF THE 1911A1 (Norinco Emblem) 45 AUTOMATIC"

    Left side frame: MADE IN CHINA BY NORINCO. C. S. I. ONT. CA

    Right side frame s/n: 526XXX

    MSH: Has landyard loop

    Three dot sights

    Finish: Blued

    And oh yeah...I love mine!

    M1911A1.... The Grandaddy Of Them ALL!!!

    Very nice! Correct me if I'm wrong but Wilson will no longer work on Norincos. Too bad, as I have a well used stock pistol that could use some custom upgrades.

    You're still in luck; during my verification correspondances with Wilson, they confirmed that they still work (gladly!) with Norincos. They only omit them from the list in the brochures simply because no more are being imported due to the ban. In fact, the gentleman I corresponded with indicated that they think VERY highly of Norincos in general.
