The biggest problem I see with info., is that it's hard to keep updated........or something will be printed in a gun rag and becaome gospel without ever checking it out for proof.

Even the testing that Fackler did with ballistics is outdated, as the rounds he used, mostly are either not being made any more, or are an outdated design.

The basic studies he did are still relavant, but the specifics of the rounds are outdated.

If you're relying on ballistic info. from as recent as 5-7 years ago, it's time to do some checking, as things have changed.

check out le.atk.com click on wound ballistics and choose any of the ballistic seminars posted. The newest was last year, and shows what bullets are doing "now" days, not 5-7+ years ago.
