    Smile 1903 Grips

Olimpus, The back of the grips have protrusions that just fit into the openings in the sides of the frame to hold the grips on the frame in exact alignment with just one screw. In the original hard rubber grips the protrusions were cast in the grips, but I used a different method with the wood grips, and cut out thin wood protrusions of the same wood and when the grips were alighned, glued them on the side of the grips, and cut out a slot for the trigger bow to slide through. I couldn't find the knurled brass escutchin and nut so, my son made me a couple of sets to finish the job.

I just visited this thread today, after a very long time, and I am sorry to say that I am disappointed by several members posting in here.

    Our Rule #8 specifically says:

    8. No member of the Forum can use the Forum to promote his/her commercial activities/products/services. If this occurs, the member doing that, risks to be banned from the Forum and invoiced for the usage of advertising space.
Several of the members who post in here, use this space to advertise the grips they are selling, against our Rules

This is totally unacceptable. No one has the right to use this board as a free advertising space. I have already banned a member who violated the No Sales rule and I am going to go through this thread with a fine comb and drop some more bombs.

I am totally disappointed by the dishonesty of some of our members.

This thread will remain closed until it is cleared up for those who violated our Rules.
