No, the shipping cost gets more expensive of course, since the mags have to be packed in a box and when you to to a box the Post Office charges by weight, so each mag shipped increases the cost.

Hawk will have to do a special investigation for you. Maybe make a box with 20 mags and take it to the Post Office for weighting. Hawk, what says you?

Ladies and gentlemen, this is for those of you who have ordered CM magazines with us.

So far, we have orders for (35) 7-rounders, (6) 8-rounders, and a few sets of bumper pads.

If the people who ordered 8-rounders would convert to 7-rounders, we would have enough orders to fulfill all the 7-rounders orders. So, if you have asked us for 8-rounders and are willing to convert your order to 7-rounders, please let us know. With the way orders are coming in, there will be a very long time before we can fulfill your 8-rounders orders.

Those who are interested to change your order, please contact Hawkmoon.

    John,

Is it too late to get in on this, I'd be willing to order some 7 rd mags and can have the check and waiver on its way tomorrow.

Send it in Scott, in that way we'll be able to order the 7-rounders and fulfill your orders.

    Question

I was finally writing a check for 12 more of the 8 rounders, but that still leaves us short of the 40 mags the Forum needs to place an order...

If I can, I'll wait and watch for a couple days to see if enough more 8 rounders are ordered. Otherwise, I'll order some 7 round mags...

We just qualified again last week and a good 1911/45 simply spoils me too much. It is just too good not to carry.

I'd much prefer to order the 8 rounders over the 7. I'd actually more 8 rd mags. How many would I need to order to get things going?

Also, dumb question - for use in a 1911 with a magwell, do I just need to order the bumper pads? Do the 8 rd mags sit flush?

I had a message changing some 8-rounders to 7-rounders, so I believe (subject to a recount) that we're either at the 40-unit mark on the 7-rounders or very close to it. But that puts us back to virtually ground zero on the 8-rounders unless/until some orders come in.

The 8-rounders fit flush. They get the extra capacity by using a different spring and a different follower than the traditional 7-round style. The Check-Mate bumper pad sets include two different pads, one thin and one thicker, so they'll work with just about any mag well you're likely to have.

Icon17 Yay! Magazines are a comin'

John, actually I was planning to order 6 more 7 rounders anyway. I am just waiting to hear from Hawkmoon...I PMed him a while ago.

But if you can answer, then I will send in my check. How much more will shipping cost if I have 16 mags all together? I already sent in a check for the 10 magazine shipping rate.

Before I can give you specifics, I need to mock up a package and take it to the post office to get it weighed and have them give me a price. Please be a little patient.

Sorry. I got a little excited... I will wait. I just wasn't sure of what was happening because I didn't get a response. Thanks for taking the time to do this, I know you have lives outside of the forum and really appreciate all that you gentlemen are doing!
