Here are the photo's of my favorate 1911

Here are my Two Les Bear's
The Top one is what I use in my Bulls Eye league, It is a P II with an Ultradot no magnification with a 4 MOA dot that you can adjust the brightness. It Also has an extension tube and a polarized filter for shooting outdoors. I love this pistol. I make my own loads LSWC 200 grams with a light bulls eye powder charge
The second 1911 is the first Baer I bought in 9mm. With iron sights I can shoot 3 to 3.5 in groups on a good day at 25 yards. The finish on this pistol did not hold up well. I want to send it back to Les Baer and have a bead blasted chrome finish put on it. The 9mm was a lot more money that the 45ACP. it is a special order and was $1960.00
I will never get rid of these 2 pistols. I have shot them enough that I replaced the recoil spring. It came with a 13 pound spring. I changed it to a 18 pound spring so he brass was not being ejected as far. The guy that shoots next to me in the league was happy becase he was getting hit in the head with 45 brass.
Here are the photo's. I have made some modifications to them feel free to ask me questions.

I am a colt man but bought this yesterday. I hope it is all the hype, it was hard dropping all them C-notes on this weapon.

I installed a magwell but the forum will not allow me to post the pic, it gives it a more complete look without the mag showing

It's day #24 of my 10 day waiting period and the California D.O.J. finally approved my purchase. So many people are buying guns that Sacramento is that far behind with the paperwork. Mine is a Les Baer Premier II. Only change i made was to install Pachmayr Signature Grips. I have them on all my 1911s. The seller said he bought it, put 300 rounds through it then decided he wanted a different Les Baer model, hence he was selling. This is my first 1911 with adjustable sights, and my first with night sights. I'm looking forward to putting rounds through this one!
