    1911 Books?

Just looking for some suggestions on 1911 based books. History, modifications, building from scratch, etc are all possibles. I know this site is a great source of info, but some ink and paper is a welcome substitute of sorts.
    Thanks!

Thanks for the kudos. Looks like I got upgraded to mentor too. That has to be a first for me.

And how did you like our little surprise?
    ??
Still looking for it. I had heard there was one, but I haven't seen a PM, popup, or anything.

You should have received a telephone call to schedule an appointment for your official m1911.org branding. There must have been some glitch. I'll check with the Forum wrangler to see what happened and see if we can get this expedited. We may not yet have received the new branding iron we ordered.
