Though 1911's are my passion, my favorite carry gun is a S&W J frame...either a Model 60 or 642...of the 2, the 642 is the most practical due to weight, and its concealability...it's my everyday carry weapon, and no 1911 can be carried as discreetly as a J frame. ...and yes, that quarter of an inch makes all the difference in the world when it comes to Commander sized 1911's...that is why I don't have a SA Champion.
I'm new to this site & just reading up on some old threads.
I got rid of all my wheel guns except a Smith 686 (no dash) 6" & my Smith 642. These two will never go.
Hunter, If you can't edit the pictures, you may e-mail them to me. I can edit them in Photo Shop and e-mail them back to you for posting.
Thank you Rich. That picture was correct but I have since switched computers so all my old pictures are gone.
Sir John, some of the pixs in the first page are missing.
