    Just a word of caution. Graphite will attack (corrode) some aluminums for you guys with alloy or aluminum frames.

    Also a question, how often should the extractor be changed. It too is a spring of sorts.

    A good extractor will not loose its tension, for at least 10,000 rounds. Even if it does, usually it can be tweaked back to shape. I haven't yet reach the limit when my extractors start producing problems. Maybe others have.

    Thanks, I had read one source stating 5K rounds as preventative maintenance, but I take what I read with a grain of salt and try to consider the source. Your information is more in line with what I have seen in the real world. Thanks again!
