Hello. Just joined and want to introduce myself. I've been shooting for many years. Purchased my first 1911 about 3years ago. A RIA 1911MS .45 acp. I shot them when I was in the Navy (SS). Enjoyed it then and still enjoy it. Thanks for the add.

Welcome to the forum.
Welcome.
My introduction to the M1911A1 was in the Army, in 1967. It's still my preferred pistol. I now have 1911s is .45 ACP, .40 S&W, .38 Super, 9mm, .22 LR -- and I'm working on .380 ACP.

When I was a Game Warden they carried the G23. I’ve considered a 1911 in .40 or 9mm. I haven’t chose one yet but I’m sure I will eventually. I’m semi retired but take cases for a company occasionally. When I’m working I usually carry a G27. Not much of a Glock fan but it’s compact and easy to handle.
Thanks appreciate the add.
