Anyone know the correct spanner bit size needed? I have some spanner bits for S&W rear sights but would like to get the correct one by the time my gun ships so I can get rid of the plunger and put red loctite on it to keep it from coming out.

Afraid I'm not familiar with the term "manhole cover"?

I took the Sig 1911 armorer's certification class. There is no "manhole cover," and I don't recall any spanner being mentioned as a required or optional tool to work on a Sig 1911.Originally Posted by SWOH
