    New ugly baby.

2024 didn't completely stink, although after having two episodes of bilateral pulmonary embolism, it ran for the money pretty hard. I did manage to go from 0 Colts to 3 in the space of the year, so that's good! Although I'd really have preferred to have acquired a Burton, Swenson and Rodgers, I am not from old, or large new money, so I settled for a well-used backup, a factory new one with it's modern day CZ cloud, and an absolute, beater. I've been taking up learning some pistol work, and enjoy reviving these old guns and primping up the new ones that come along. One thing that I've discovered on this trip down the long, rabbit hole is that besides books and tools, 1911's are a wonderful place to make cash disappear.
