    Help to identify if this is a 1911 / 1910 hammer.

    Any assistance would be appreciated to identify this hammer.

    I was told this was a 1910 hammer, but trying to confirm if it's a Colt 1910 or 1911 (Colt, WWII, etc)

    I had thought it might be a short hammer, but was told that it's probably not.

    Hammer spur looks similar to that shown in Clawson's Big Book on pg 54.

    This link from coltautos.com shows No. 2 disassembled. Appears the checkering might extend further.
