Unknown Manufacturer of 1911 Frame X Serial Number

I picked up this frame when purchasing a pile of military firearms and parts from a gentleman. I'm not sure if the frame has been reparkerized as it is black. The front grip has been stippled. All of the X serial numbers I have seen online reference specific ranges which this serial number doesn't fall into any range I've seen so far. Was wondering if anyone can tell me what manufacturer the frame was originally and if you know who redid it based on the serial number. I appreciate any help that can be provided.

    Jeremy

Are there any other markings whatsoever?

    Welcome to the forum.

Serial number appears pantographed (milled with a scribing cutter) due to the round ends of the characters. Possibly a cast frame.

I think it is pantographed, too.
Look at the irregularities in the rail right above the "NO". Could this be a frame that had been cut in half to de-mil and later welded back together?

Nope there aren't any other markings on it anywhere that I was able to identify.

The other weird thing is there is a ghost O to the right of the NO. and it looks like other numbers as well but can't make them out.
