My two new 2023 Colt 1911's

I just bought two new Colt 1911 Governments (both 5").

One is a very nice 01970 series which I have tested at a range.

The other one is called a Colt 1911. It is a 01911SE.

Both are great, and I can't figure out how to show a picture.

    Very nice looking pistols.

How aggressive is the front strap checkering on the Colt 1911?

It feels like my 2011 01991 Gov't. I have long fingers which are comfortable with all models.

P/S I bought the above two on 8/17. They had 12 different models. I called back a week later, and they had one left.

Very nice. One can never go wrong with a Colt 1911.

I attended a local gun-guy meeting at our range. I got 15 rounds (7 + 8 mags) from my new 2023 Colt Series 70 replica. The gun is really good. Buy one before the market sells out.

I also got to go with my Colt new Colt 1911 (their words). It's still a great gum, No Doubt.
