    Colt Classic 1911

My wife told me to get one, I know she is the best. Im a revolver guy but grew up across the river from Colt, could see the blue dome from our sledding hill. Always thought they were out of my reach money wise. I want the GI, I have 2 other 1911s. It will be my carry sidearm, Im pretty excited. Just needed to share this with the forum.

When I found mine it was in the local gun store and I was just looking. It is the GI model 1991. It was price the same as the other entry level 1911 guns. Same as my Kimber Custom II. So I got it. The finish was great and shoots anything. Great gun. I got rid of all the guns I don't shoot. That is one I kept.
