    Someone gave me approximately 60 issues of American Rifleman from the 1950s - 60s. My Dad had a large stack of them when we lived on the farm and I remember some of these magazine cover photos.

    The articles cover mostly hunting, target shooting or "sporterizing" that old Springfield or Mauser rifle you have. Lots of advertisements for surplus arms; cheapest so far is British Enfields for less than ten dollars.
