Thanks for the education, and again, looks like you found the root cause. On FrogLube, I myself have only ever used the liquid and only on mags and exteriors; to be sure of reliability I have always only used petroleum-based CLP on everything else. Sounds like I have more to learn about FrogLube.
If/when I retire someday, I look forward to cutting costs and slowing down a little with two-step!
