Turns out my new Desert Eagle is a factory blem. Never seen this before.

Pretty mad about it. It wasn't disclosed on the page or description, and i paid full price. The bolt face is very rough, and I think it needs to be RMA'd. Thoughts?

Perhaps call the manufacturer and ask them about these issues. Especially to ask if your gun is a blem.

Other than it’s appearance, what issues are you having with it?

The issue I have is the fact that I was sold a 'factory new' item and received a factory seconds/blemished unit.

It sounds like you have a product disclosure issue, rather than a product issu

I wouldn't like it at all myself.

In reading the GB feedback it seems Birmingham Pistol do this quite regularly unfortunately. I did buy a gun from them a few year back with no issue, but it was a Kel Tec so I doubt anyone could tell if it was blemished or not

MRI won't warranty a blemish/factory seconds but they were extremely helpful in providing proof that it was sold to the distributor as a blem serial.

Embarrassing. I would cross post this experience with the store Birmingham Pistol everywhere. https://birminghampistol.com

The seller is definitely in the wrong here, as we all know. That said, I’d still like to know what the blemish was. There could be more out there and we’d know what to look for.
