    38 Super Conversion.

I have a 38 Super barrel kit purchased 30-40 years ago. It has a screw-on comp. It's unique feature is the slide stop pin. It has asloe into which you insert shims which work with the barrel link to provide the same positioningfor each shot. I have lost the instruction sheet, and the barrel is not marked with a brand. DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THESE BARRELS? WHAT WAS THE BRAND? ARE THEY STILL MADE?

It sounds like a Centaur Quadracomp although I did not know they made a .38 Super.
    The company is long gone.

Show pictures so we can be sure what you have. If it is the Centaur, you are missing parts.

That is indeed a Centaur Quadracomp outfit and it looks like you do have all the bits. Including two length slide stops and spare shims, rollers, buffers, and screws.

I don't even remember what I sold mine to finance, it was a good shooting outfit for its day.
The only replacement part I know of is recoil springs. I would assume the 12 lb for a compensated .38.
