70 Series Mark IV, Model 0

Just back to do research on a new addition. This is NIB, as mentioned, series 70, IV, Model 0 is the description. The story goes it was in the Colt Custom shop during the CZ purchase, awaiting engraving. The front & rear sights are in the box, they were not on yet due to the planned engraving.

That’s the story, not my story, can’t verify.

It was time for a REAL 1911, to go with my PT1911 and Balester Molina from South America.

The sights are being installed by a gunsmith. SN is GV0215xx, seems recent.

Did Colt return the pistol due to the ownership transfer?
