I just got my Colt Gold Cup Trophy in .45acp. This adds to my small family of 1911’s, including a Smith & Wesson Pro Series. The only thing that bothers me about the Colt is that the palm safety seems loose and rattley. Is this typical? Otherwise, a beautiful firearm!

    RO MI?
    If so hi neighbor.

Been my limited experience that they are not tight but not loose or or noisy.
I would describe it a smooth when depressing.
