    22mag

    I picked up a 22xtm in 22 mag. Neat gun fun to shoot. It has a fixed rear sight, talked to a rockisland rep said they do not make a adjustment rear sight, and any changes to the slide will void warranty. I have a 1911 adjustment rear sight I filled down to fit. Does anyone make a rear adjustable sight ? Also anyone find extra mags?

    Why don't you send the slide to Armscor and have them install the adjustable rear sight they put on the target model?

    The only source for magazines is Armscor.

    Hawkmoon gives good advice and knows 1911s inside and out.

    If you send it back home to get the work done they might give it a Tune-up {no guarantees}
    It should save the Warrantee.

    The XT target slide dovetail does not appear to be even in the same place as the fixed, I doubt it would clean up.

    just gave me the size of thesight dovetail
    So what is the size of the dovetail? Dawson and LPA make a lot of sights and if the dovetail is the same as anything else, you will have a choice.

    Rock Island's owners manual used to include the dimensions of the sight cuts -- I don't know if that's still the case.
