I mentioned earlier that I would post my results after loading and testing some rounds, this being my first time using these plated bullets. I just loaded some of the plated 230 grain .45 ACP rounds and tested them out at the range. I used 4.7 grains of Bullseye and CCI small pistol primers, on the chronograph they came in at an average of 735 FPS and they cycled my pistol with the handful that I brought with me. I will load some more with a bit more powder to get the FPS closer to 800 FPS. Also, for what its worth, I loaded some .38 Special for my revolver and I was happy with the results. Again, these are bullets made by Everglades Ammo in Florida. They appear to be quality bullets and the company provides prompt service and they come packaged nicely. They cost a little more but the free shipping offsets that. I will absolutely be buying more and I recommend this company to all you reloaders out there!
