    Slim grips for O1911C

I've been out of the 1911 game for well over a decade. Just picked up an O1911C, since I could not get my hands on the O1911 Carbonia Blue version I've wanted since it first came out.
Trying to find some slim line, double diamond, cocobolo or rosewood grips that fit the newer frames. Scanning the QR code tag on the pistol brings up 19042021, which I'm guessing
means the pistol was made April 19th, 2021. Can't find any of my old links to slim grips as the last time I logged in here was 2015 lol. John was gracious enough to help me
with login issues to get back in.

Looking for something like this in a slim line version to match the modern frames. One seller I spoke with said his slim grips do not fit the newer frames. Figured I'd ask here for a definitive answer.

What's different about the "newer" frames? Why wouldn't those grips fit?

I'm not sure, that's why I wanted to ask here. Contacted a seller that has grips similar to what I want and asked if they would fit. He said they don't fit some of the newer frames.
Found that odd but wanted to double check before ordering anything. Any recommendations are also welcome.

I don't know what that dealer meant without talking to him, but my off-the-cuff guess is that he's thinking of some of the new models (from manufacturers other than Colt) that have the rear lower corner of the grip frame (and mainspring housing) rounded off for better concealability. As far as I know, the model O1911C takes any standard 1911 grips.

Just remember that if you install thin grips you also need to change the grip screw bushings.

I do remember the grip screw bushing part. Just wish I could find the seller I bought thin grips from years ago, as those were very nice. Thank you for the help.

If yours is a full size pistol, I have a set that will fit. Pm for pics and details.
