    Gunsmith recommendation for slide cuts

I have a 1911 series 70 government model that I would like to put a Bomar rear sight and and appropriate height front site on (staked is fine). The only gunsmith within 50mi has a poor reputation for this type of work. Any recommendations for someone I can just ship my slide to and have this done? (I'm in NW Fl)

When you can measure what you are speaking about, and express it in numbers, you know something about it; but when you cannot measure it, when you cannot express it in numbers, your knowledge is of a meagre and unsatisfactory kind. [Lord Kelvin]

Apparently this link doesn't work anymore. I'm looking for a recommendation from someone who has actually had this kind of work done.

I had new sights installed on an old Colt by the Colt Custom Shop. I was happy with the work. That was a number of years ago -- I don't know if Colt still does that kind of work.
