    Tidings from Southwestern Ohio

    Hello to all!
Sort of a new member here. I joined many years ago. I forgot my login info and for some reason was unable to reset my password, login & access this site thereafter. After many attempts at contacting admins I gave up. However, I just got the recent email from the site and decided to try one more time... Voila! I created a new account and finally got back in.
I'm a longtime 1911 owner. I started my 1911 obsession with a limited run Colt 10/40CE. Next up was a dull Nickled series 70 Colt Commander .45acp, a Para Ord P14 .45acp, a Para P10 .45acp, a Kimber Tactical Custom II .45acp, a blued series 70 commander frame topped with a Kimber .22 slide assembly and finally an early model Colt Defender .45acp.
    Even with all the .45's, I'm a 10millie nut. I love the10mm round!
I'm a retired on disability LEO. I'm a stay at home dad of 3 boys and have been making 1911 grips in my spare time since approx 2005.
    That's about it....

Welcome to the forum. I'm also a retired LEO; a total of 37 years at three different agencies in Marin County, Calif. How about sharing a photo or two of the grips you make?
    i sold all my handguns. . . . . . . . . . except for the 1911 style pistols in .45 ACP.

    Thanks for your time in.
I'd be happy to share some pics. I'll dig up some pics and look at the sticky Grips Thread. I read through thewhole thing and can't remember if it got locked or not.
The last post by the site admin has me not wanting I'd to violate any site rules on unpaid advertising...
