South west of Minneapolis, no gas lines or shortages. Ammo, is arriving and small sellers are high prices, but large chain Fleet Farm and Scheel's are keeping their prices closer to 2019 prices. All the places are limiting purchases, such as 100 rounds or 2 boxes, etc. I have ordered online from The Ammunition Club, no ammo yet, but prices are the closest I have seen to 2019 prices. To be fair, they do a monthly payment thing for full cases, and I have no finished paying for my cases of ammo.
The local tv news tonight reported that 70% of NC stations, 53% of SC stations and 50% of GA stations had no gas. I don't drive as much as I used too. I've put 5800 miles on my truck in the past 31 months. That's 187 miles per month. The gas in my truck will take me 292 miles, but it's affecting people that have to work and can't find gas. I live in North Myrtle Beach, SC and this is the start of the tourist season and that's having an effect on the gas supply.
As for ammo: there are several LGS's in the area, but I have 3 that I normally visit. None of them stock components. The neighborhood LGS (2 blocks away) has been closed since March or April of 2020. One is a pawn shop that has a good size room that is a gun shop. They have removed 2 large display cases that held guns and filled another gun case with knives and scopes. The other LGS only allows one customer at a time in the shop. And you have to make an appointment. He has about half his normal stock. Not much ammo at any of them. There's a Bass Pro Shop about 10 miles away that I might visit once or twice a year. They have no components. They keep the ammo behind the counter and there's very little.
I've got enough gas for now and enough ammo for now, but I'm not sure how rosy the future is going to be.
Sarasota, FL - gas at the station closest to me (Racetrack) is 2.89. They were out Wed night. Other stations as well due to panic buying.
Haven't shopped for ammo in quite a while due to shortages and prices last year.
Northern Nevada - no shortages of fuel, prices edging up as usual for the start of summer. Virtually no ammo to be had - one LGS has had no ammo shipments for months and only has consigned ammo on hand with unreal prices.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

From southern Illinois, gas is available though I had to pay $3.18 a gallon to fill the wife's car tonight.
Haven't seen powder or primers in a long time. No ammo in most places, and if you do find some it's high. Local farm store chain is getting some ammo, and when they do it is reasonably priced. Two box limit. I bought a couple of boxes of .380 Federal American Eagle yesterday at $21.99 a box. First I have seen in over a year.

Outside of the Las Vegas area. Gas is hovering around $3.05.
Ammo is available in limited quantities at places like Bass Pro, at fair prices, for the early birds. Then they run home and post for sale, at double the price!
Smaller shops are scraping the barrel to get any ammo. No real shortage of guns.

Southern Florida, rumors abound but no gas lines. Ammo is 2-5 times the usual price although available. 22 prices are insane, I see more and more ammo showing up online. I have no idea where all the primers have gone. 30 cents per primer for small pistol primers, that's nuts. Powder is gone within twenty minutes when it's available. That's just plain hoarding the powder, if you don't have primers what the h e l l do you need 20lbs of powder. It's like the toilet paper hoarding, people only have one bung hole but require 400 rolls of paper. Personally I can ride out this storm, and have sold at cost, ammo and supplies to my dummy friends that didn't listen when things were normal. Buy enough ammo for five or so range trips, not just what you will use today. Good Luck to all, this too shall pass.
You believe I was censored for using a word and had to change it. The word was a mild expression, and is the word opposite of heaven. Sorry folks this place has gone to defacation. Is it owned by Facebook? Too many pansies running these boards and the Media.
